Make, model, year, engine and the part. Ideally also the VIN and a photo.

Only those that dismantle your make. They don't see your phone number yet.

The one with the part calls you
One scrapyard gets your contact. You agree on the price and delivery directly. If you don't agree, we pass the request to another one.
Tips to get the right part first time
VIN
17 characters in the vehicle registration certificate (field E). Scrapyards use it to check the engine, gearbox and equipment.
Paint code
For doors, bonnets or bumpers it saves you repainting. You'll find it on a label in the door frame or in the boot.
Part number
The most reliable option for electronics and control units. It is on a label directly on the part.
Photo
A photo of the faulty part or its label often answers questions before the scrapyard asks them.
Frequently asked questions
›Which parts do scrapyards have most often?
The best sellers are engines, gearboxes, doors, bonnets, bumpers, lights, mirrors, control units and wheels. For common cars such as Škoda Octavia, VW Golf or Ford Focus, scrapyards have practically anything in stock.
›Can I claim a defect on a used part?
Yes. You claim it with the scrapyard that sold you the part. For used goods, the seller may agree with a consumer on a shorter warranty, but at least one year. Clarify the terms when you agree on the purchase.
›How much does the request cost?
Nothing. The request is free and non-binding. You agree on the price of the part directly with the scrapyard that calls you.
›Who handles my request?
Your request is handled by the PoptejDil.cz service. It sends it to scrapyards that dismantle your make. Only one scrapyard at a time – one that has the part – gets your phone number. If you don't agree, we offer the request to another one, at most two in total.
